So I was inspired by something I've seen recently and had to try it out.
This might very well be the only time I use The Sanguinor!

Seriously... This list looks like it would be AWESOME to play... Why? Because Sanguinor. 7th Edition wasn't kind to the golden angel... yeah his price dropped 75pts, he still doesn't have the livability to keep going... No Ind Character really hurts this guy (that's where biker priest comes in), and his +1 Attack bubble only affects models within 6", not units within 6", so that's why there's an abundance of assault troops in the army.
So basically the priest joins with Sanguinor to make a 2 man unit HAHA.

Can you give the sanguinary some kind of invulnerable save? Cause then he could soak up even more scary stuff. Just a thought

Alas, no
But hide the 2 man fast unit behind the assault troops, and there's lots of cover, plus if something does get through, Sanguinor has EW and can soak the Str10 hits if any get through. The Biker Priest gives the 2 man unit majority so it's T5 to wound so regular arms fire has a tougher time (that's sanguinor's weakness, LOTS of shots). Then there's FNP granted by the priest. Sanguinors WS jumps to 9 so even regular type troops will need 5+ in close combat just to hit him... The Priest rolls for 2 warlord traits due to The Veritas. Sanguinor tanks small arms fire with his 2+.

Just looks so fun. I got Sanguinor, painted him up nice, and used him all of 4 times... maybe 5... haha

Well the sanguinator model is nice, again as you point out hes just hard to get use out of before he gets blasted to pieces. But yeah that sounds like a strong if expensive combo to make him usable.
