Painting will be judged by me, worth a total of 40pts.
   - No paint, no conversions, 0 pts
   - No paint, some conversions, 5 pts
   - Some paint, no conversions, 5 pts
   - 1/2 painted, no conversions, 10 pts
   - 1/2 painted, some conversions, 15 pts
   - almost all painted, no conversions, 20 pts
   - almost all painted, some conversions, 25 pts
   - all painted, 30pts
   - all painted, some conversions, 35pts
   - I get excited about your stuff, 40pts

Games are worth 20pts each.  20pts win, 10 pts tie, 5 pts loss.

Comp is worth 50 points.

There will be three rounds.

Schedule
9:45 - 10AM Setup and seeding.  Players will be seeded in order of arrival (unless I'm splitting up people who frequently play eachother & carpool, IE: Paz & Ian or Robyn & Beau)
10AM-Noon Round 1  -- If you end early, early lunch for you!
Noon-12:45 -- Lunch Break  -- If you and you're next opponent come back early, you can start early
1PM - 3PM -- Round 2
3:15PM - 5:15PM -- Round 3
5:15 - 5:30PM -- Cleanup
5:30 PM - 6PM -- Prizes
6PM - ???  --- Post Tournament Frivolity

(The approximate measurements are due to varying table sizes, as some tables are 49" wide or more than 72" long.  The approximate measurement, shown by a '~' should change based on any faults of the table.  The other measurement must remain constant.)

Round 1:
Mission:  Kill Points
Secondary:  Line Breaker, Slay the Warlord, First Blood.
Turn 1 Night Fight is in effect
Deployment: Long Table Edges, ~12" on, 24" apart
(Roll off to determine Deployement side, then roll warlord & psychic, then roll off to see who deploys first as normal)

Round 2:
Mission:  Mark's Crazy not Maelstrom Mission aka. "Punishment for going 1st"
Objectives:  BEFORE DEPLOYEMENT IS DETERMINED 4 Objectives marked 1->4 are placed on the table.  Players roll off to deploy the 4 objectives on the table.
Secondary: Line Breaker, Slay the Warlord, First Blood.
NO NIGHTFIGHT
Deployment:  Roll, 1-3 Long Table Edges, 4-6 Short Table Edges (~24" from the short edge, 24" apart).
(Roll off to determine Deployement side, then roll warlord & psychic, then roll off to see who deploys first as normal)
At the *END OF GAME TURN 1* , Objective 1 is worth 1 pt.   At the end of game turn 2, Objective 2 is worth 1 pt.  End of game turn 3, objective 3 is worth 1 pt, and the same for 4 and objective 4 (worth 1 point).  At the end of the game, each objective is worth 2 points.

Round 3:
Mission:  Crusade.  D3+2 Objectives
Secondary: Line Breaker, Slay the Warlord, First Blood.
Deployment:  Long Table Edges.
(Roll off to determine Deployement side, then roll warlord & psychic, then roll off to see who deploys first as normal)
Turns 5+ have Nightfight applied.

How are the pre-game rolls getting handled (warlord traits, powers, gifts, et cetera)? Game-by-game, roll once and lock for the day, picking before the event as part of the list?

Also are 30k armies really being considered? I would be as excited as a human being could be if this is the case

Yep, I'll edit it into the top of this one.

Just a heads up... The Community Comp document has gone through another revision, mainly the addition of a "fast assault units" section. Not sure how many are already aware, but I was brainstorming lists again today and looked and lo-and-behold it's different from the last time I used it.

So, not sure if the Fast Assault units was the only change, but thought I'd post here in case others were/are affected

Hey Mark, Any idea of how many are signed up?
I've been holding off because I hurt my back a bit ago, and I don't want to sign up if I cannot make it anyways. I'll know by Thursday or Friday this week if I will be able to maintain a day out or not, and speed to the Den to sign up if there's still room.

Last I checked there were 2 spots left, I asked Darren today but he didn't get back to me yet.
