Playoffs - Finally

So I finally got the reports from this past league tallied up. Sorry, it took a couple nights to tackle through, there were a lot of games reported in. Work has started to ease slightly for me, so I'm hoping I can keep up to track with everythingfor the next league. Which, will probably time perfectly with a new edition. Ha.. go figure.

Here's are the randon match-ups based on where you finished in the league totals.

Dallas/superdeuxlol (1805) vs. Tom/planes (1730)
Mark/loreweaver (1790) vs. Dana (1745)

Jeremy/aengeal (1760) vs. Paz (1715)
Gavin/gain (1775) vs. Ian/gingerballs (1700)

So, as with previous league playoffs, you make one list at your assigned points and use for all your games in the playoffs. For the playoffs, we wont be using any Dataslates, FW, Formations, new Fortifications or Escalation. Supplements and regular armies are all good.

I'll get the scenarios up shortly, but will be something similar to what we`ve we`ve used before but fairly balalnced. I don`t have the time to get anything unique up this time around. I can say there will be two missions objective based, and one kill point if you want to start working on your list.

Keep in mind the general league rules for lists. The playoffs is the time to up the ante a bit but really try to take a neutral look with your army list and don't go to over the top. Everyone should reply to this message as well to list what army there'll be palying.. but of course not your actual list.

Plan away. No big rush to get things done and our of the way. We`ll have the next league start on launch day of 7th, maybe plan a friday night mini tournie to kick it off, a fairwell to 6th and then buy all our new expensive rulebooks at midnight.

1) how the heck did I make 6th, I barely got any games in.
2) I don't exactly have a car right now...

I will be playing Fire hawks space marines (big surprise)

So I can confirm that I'm without car for at least two weeks. As a result I'll need to bow out. I'd be down for some casual matches with you guys once my ride it back in working order, though.

I will be rocking some space wolves possibly with some ultramarines allies but i gotta see how many SW I have first

Am in in toms spot, or are the points/positions getting shuffled to account for my last place position?

We had something similar right before 6th dropped. I played 3 games, was 2-1 and i was third or fourth. Someone got it after going 1-0.

Will play offs taken place after 7e release be 7e rules, or, are we going to use 6e for these play offs entirely?

I would imagine 6th the entire time.

Its gonna be confusing for a few months.. your first game of 7th should not be a playoff game with a list you created under 6th edition. I'm not even sure how you do it.. or why.

Uhm, I could prob do Saturday at 11 or noon, otherwise Sunday or Monday (pending when I find out if I am Role-playing or not).
