had a short chat with Darren today, some interesting stuff:

-40k sales are way down, infinity orders way up.
-he would like to carry some infinity stuff, but he doesnt have any room (tho im sure this will change)
-the current rulebook (v2) and human sphere are on sale right now. Since the new n3 rues will have the same fluff, worth getting if you just want the rules online but want to read fluff and see cool art!

I also just ordered my ariadna vanilla army, so I'll have five (three vanilla and two sectorials) forces to run demos soon!

Lol I apologized and he was like "eh whatever".

To be fair a lot of us that still play 40k already have our armies. The only purchases I plan for 40k in the future is just codex/rules updates and whatever crazy new model they come out with that is incredibly amazing.

I still enjoy 40k, just want to broaden my horizons with Infinity.

Well.. the den gets the same amount of money every month whether its 40k, pathfinder or board games.

I dont mind giving a try especially if a group is established and the game is good. Im just always reluctant to ease into anything new for fear of having my game stuff go obsolete.

A little birdie told me that preorders for the 3rd edition rulebook and fluff book (separate books!) starts on Monday. Should be about a month from then for the books to start shipping I think.

My copy has been pre-ordered. First thing I did Monday morning.
