Introducing the Eston chapter

Hey everybody I am a Space Wolves player from Eston looking to find games anywhere near here. There are a few players around here but we are eager to play other people. I would be willing to make a trip to Saskatoon sometime but anywhere closer would be preferable. like Rosetown, Kindersley, or Swift Current and anywhere inbetween

you drive W/SW to rosetown. turn south on hwy 4 towards swift current. just before you get to elrose, turn right onto hwy 44, and drive west until you hit eston.

We dont have a set night anymore, but you can play at the den more or less anytime if there isn't an event going on.

There are always lots of stuff happening. Weve been trying to have different types of events each month as well as our ongoing league. The league is really basic, $5 entry for about three mon ths. You just report games you had with other league members and the top 8 have a little playoff at the end. The easiest way to get casual games is to hop on the.league. or you can book non league games to.. all in the thunderdom. If your in the league, dragons den will give you 15% off 40k purchases.

lol its a good question though. dusktiger has pretty good directions. at least a 2 hour drive one way so.. pretty fair chunk of driving

i remember the route from having to inspect the fire alarm system at the school there.  though i had to lookup the hwy numbers cause i havent been there in at least 4 or 5 years now.

well if anybody wanted to make a trip down here they are more than welcome. There is also no doubt that we will be goin there for models and tourneys at some point. though I personaly have never been there my buddies have. Btw i can field about 2000 points comfortably without proxying too heavily

I'd be willing to make the drive if I was guaranteed 2 games but then 2 games with travel time....it's hard to swing.

Maybe some day a bunch of us could carpool down there. Just so the complete onus isn't on you guys.

Ohya 2 games would be pretty easy to swing. I am about to move into a new place and I will have lots of gaming room and time after that. By the end of the month I will be settled in and ready for sure

Perhaps one of these days we could rent a venue to hold an event down in Rosetown for a change of pace.

We have been thinkin about doing a tournament type thing.... nothing fancy maybe 20 in the pot at most. always up for casual too
