Gw is so damn smart. Nobody wanted to play escalation, so they are providing the one model every fan boy has been asking for, and making it a super heavy. They will sell shitloads, and ppl will want to use them, and escalation will just become part of the norm. Insidious!

Personally, I think Codex: Legion of the Damn is the bigger thing of the two. Not sure how much sense it makes sense off the top of my head, but I'd probably play it.

I think lotd is just gonna be lotd units that guard can use, as well as sm. they're not gunna make new models, not with titans and guard coming out.

This is basically GW for the last 2-3 years. The ideas are top notch. The execution is lousy.
