Hopefully it wont be *too* crowded. Weve got the back 4 tables but could get a little crammed if we have a big turnout.. coupled with friday night games.. might be a crowded back room. Good thing its miserable cold out and not the middle of summer.
If i habe to fill in a bye slot.. be warned.. berserkers in rhinos !!!!

They're so good, they assault the turn *after* assaulting would've been a good idea. *laughs*

Next Dataslate: Berzerker Assault rhino.. Its a Demolisher cannon that fires 8 zerkers out the gun. scatters as normal, if template ends up on top of a unit, assign hammer of wrath hits and the unit counts as charging. Berzerkers take d3 wounds with no saves allowed.

That would actually be pretty amazing. Think of the stuff you could tie up in combat from 24" away. Especially without overwatch gonzos.

Lots of tight games. Somehow me and Gavin managed to tie through all the tie breakers in game one, because apparently Tiggy has ALL the rules. Grey Knight termies also seem to be an anathema to scarabs, when they can actually roll their dice. Myself and Tom are still rather perplexed about the whole "8 rounds of combat" that ensued from that.

Less perplexed and just know that the first thing I'm doing at the den next time is buying another dice cube.
Was actually rolling fairly average most games. Then for what almost two solid game turns I couldn't roll higher than a two? Blah.
Had an awesome time though with 3 cool games. Although I forgot to remind everyone to sign up for the March tourney, doh! And forgot my playoff winnings, double doh!

Re: Lord of the Warp - Feb 7th
Sorry for not getting a synopsis earlier, was busy doing nothing today.
Mike Voth - Overall
Tom L - Best General
Dana - Best Painted
Dallas - Best Sportsmanship
Things were really tight, especially going into the last game. Mike and Tom actually tied for Overall but Mike had the edge on sportsmanship and general points so he took her home. Mike was the only player to go 3-0 on the evening but his all grey army hampered him in painting portion.
Dallas got full sportsmanship and was also the only person to have all three opponents say he was their best game of the evening.
Everything is on my flash stick hidng somewhere, but Ill try to snap a screen of the spreadsheet so you can see your rankings and breakdown. Ill pin up the sceanrios as well. It was alot of fun to sit around and chat with everyone, but I was sort of hoping we'd have an odd number so I could whip out some Rhino'd up Berserkers!

Whenever I break open my big Appoc dice cube, you're more than welcome to use a fist full yourself.
Next Saturday, perhaps?System Commander wrote:It was alot of fun to sit around and chat with everyone, but I was sort of hoping we'd have an odd number so I could whip out some Rhino'd up Berserkers!

I'm sad that people don't appreciate how hard it is to pull off that "new fig grey" paint scheme...
P.S. Thanks for running the event Robyn!

To pull it off at least once a year with the same army is the real feat here.
Robyn I am really liking some of the interesting missions you have made in the last while. That third mission was awesome, as was the cursed relic in the league finals!

It's that perfect shading you do to your models, it's like a light dusting of dust.
