Black Library /Digital releases

I wonder what the take-up rate is for GW and these dataslates and such. Releasing these things in pdf and mobi formats basically means that only one person on the planet needs to pay for it.

I know that i have been able to acquire full fledged copies of both the mobi and pdf versions of every digital release within hours of them being released.

the pricing has been fairly reasonable i guess, if you don't want to troll the gutters of the internet, its worth spending the money.

I dunno. The last couple of releases I haven't been able to justify the $25-$35 price tag. There is 3-4 books I would have picked up if they had been in the $10-$15 dollar range (inquisitor, sentinels of Terra, escalation, stronghold).

To be fair I haven't bothered to find them on the net anywhere, but still $25 bucks for a digital copy of something is to expensive for me.

Digital really should be cheaper than hard copy, as the absence of a printing material and shipping are core costs for physical copies, things that are simply absent from the digital, removing that portion of the overhead.

Well I believe the hard copy of all of this is in the $50 dollar price range so it is a bit cheaper. Still to high for me though.
