and why not? if people are spending $50 for 10 pages of fluff and 3 pages of re-gurgitated rules, they would be crazy not to.

how many thousands of nerds with ipads downloaded the black legion codex just hoping against hope that they could put something other than drakes and plague marines on the table? you can pay a dev for an entire year if it only gets 1000 downloads. and they sure didn't spend an entire year putting it together. even if a hardcover never hits the stands, its worth producing.
