so the rules for specialist weapons just state

"A model fightingwith this weapon does not receive +1 attack for fighting two weapons unless both weapons have the Specialist Weapon rule."

I could totally see taking a jugger /bike/steed lord with a Fist and a Claw. Especially if I've already got one with an axe of burning rage.

Cuz lord knows, if a fist is so complicated to use that you can't effectively use a knife as well, OBVIOUSLY something like a Lightning Claw will be able to be used effectively.....

I am really coming to the conclusion that GW drops absurd amounts of $$$ on glossy full color pages, hardcovers, etc..... and has the writers do their own proofing, spell checking and editing.

Back on topic. Wouldn't this be the default build for ANY chaos character? That way you can go at I4 or I1 depending on the opponents wargear, to you get more boons?

If you've got the axe of blind fury.. You need no other weapons!

Ive rolled a 1 a few for the daemon weapon.. But even when he does he can still kick butt. A claw and a fist kight start to ramp him up in price.. But i do understand your point of absurdity.

Doesn't bother me at all. How many points does that cost you? 45? (hrm... that actually is reasonably cheap)

i think its worthwhile on your second lord if you already have a jugger/axe of burning rage guy. or if you are running say.. a slannesh lord to open up noise marines troops. use that I6 claw when your fighting

i just wish there was a generic daemon weapon. its really missing from the wargear section. really really missing.

Ya, lightning claw + powerfist combo works for the extra attack.

From what I understand it is a rather popular build right now.

Personally, I prefer lightning claw + burning brand so that my lord has something to do on outflank turn.
