New League

Well.. I'm ready to start the new league. In the past we've typically waited for the playoffs to finish but with the new.haos book out and stil a new edition, I think people are eager to get going again.

I'll get the totals and reports cleared out and we can start up this week.

Sounds good to me! Start it now then the tournament goers can count their tourney games as league games (if they're signed up).

How did i miss this thread last tue? Anywho I'll be signing up again the next time I'm in 'toon town. Bonus for Tournament counting towards league results!

Are there any special rules for this league? Should I follow the summer of slaughter rule base? Are we doing Escilation?
I have not been to the Den since Saturday to look at the sign up sheet, but I think I would like to join.

I don't have to follow a single army do I? I'd like some practice games with my Dark Eldar... After I repair them.... *cough**Stupid cat**cough*

To the best of my knowledge, the only "special rule" for the general league is for warlord traits (roll then choose your chart). You're only locked into an army for playoffs, at which point you have one list that you use the whole way through.

Just play a game and report it. You and your opponent can play any type of game you want.. Any scenario, any ooints. Just report the results.

Even the warlord.thing isnt an "official" league thing although its been generally accepted.

New rules for this league though is that Mark isnt allowed to report more than one game a week against his kids =)

well. if your playing the chaos, your going to have to play a lot more games to get the same amount of points, so it's going to be a double -whammy

In Marks defense.. Hes never reported a game against Thiessen or The Kid in the league.

We both generally play one game a week, but he always has the edge on me because of the painting bonus!

You can get a leg up with your fully painted army!

Dont worry about that new house, unpacking stuff. Your gal will understand.. This is for 40k!
