so i found some neat cards for tracking warp charges and psyker cards rolled for that someone did for nids, and decided to make a template for characters that listed wargear, stats, and has a checkbox for marking wounds and warp charges. these are intended to be laminated.

Those are awesome looking. Its to bad i dont use any special characters to make use of it.

if you have an HQ you always field the same way, send me the stats and i'll make you some cards. that goes the same for anyone else here that wants them.
im thinking about for psykers, i'll either double side them, or make another card, that has all the psyker powers from the card deck listed so you can check off the ones you rolled for that game. again, this is assuming you'd laminate them so they can be write and wipe cards with a dry erase marker, though you could easily just use card stock and a pencil.

I generally dont know what army i want to play let alone which characters im going to field . If i ever get it nailed down i will let you know.

no, cause his is a special weapon with its own entry and rules, so it becomes an AP 3.
normal thunder hammers just double your STR, so it would be str 8, but his takes you to 10 and gets +1 on the damage chart

Dont have my rulebook at work, but doesnt that only apply for "unusual power weapons" which it isnt being a thunderhammer?

"unusual power weapons" are power weapons that have their own decriptions/stat lines telling you what they do. the fastest way to tell it's an AP 3 weapon is to usually look and see if it has a name; most named weapons have their own entry in that character's entry describing it as being something more than an average power weapon.
in the vanilla marine codex, that would be the following weapons:
Lysander's Fist of Dorn
Sicarius' Talassarian Tempest Blade
Tigurius' Rod of Tigurius
Shrike's Raven's Talons
He'stan's Spear of Vulkan
Khan's Moonfang

Isn't that the case because all nemisis weapons are "unusual force weapons" which are ap3. Since The Fist of Dorn isn't either a force or power weapon those USRs don't apply. At least how i read it.

Isn't the wording on Fist of Dorn that it's a Thunderhammer that hits at strength 10 and adds +1 to the damage chart?
