I'm getting excited about reviving my Chaos army. Although, It'll require a "great re-basing" project, as all my bases look like ass. Nevermind another codex so I can take my Daemonettes and Keeper of Secrets.

typhus rules re: zombies is delicious... especially considering i have no less than 3! unopened boxes of Zombies from 1998 when i flirted with a fantasy undead army that never got off the ground.

Its pretty well established sept 1 is the release for chaos.

There are flyers and new daemon models coming out in august.. Im on my phone so cant link anythng but all the big sites have the confirmations and rumours up.

I'm pumped for Chaos now! And I'm not even going to play them! But looking forward to playing against them. Looks like they have so many cool options and so many different types of builds you can do.

Very weird that CSM DP will be jump MC and Daemons DP wil be flyers.

If you think about it, though, a Daemon Demon Prince has probably been such for longer than a CSM one, and thus has grown accustomed to their wings. That, or it could be a balance thing.

Maybe they are afraid of heights??

The CSM princes are getting higher cost wargear to make them in line with the pricing for the Daemons codex. (which will negate any playability they had to begin with. the only reason Current CSM players use princes is because they are an under-cost version of what they want out of their lord - a mobile combat monster that you cant insta-gib with a missile)
I think the era of double prince CSM armies is over, and your going to see a lot more lords, bike lords, Sorcerer lords. even Steed lords(12in move calvary model that can keep up with an av toughness 6 nurgle bike squad? sign me up.) . and the age of the "retinue" will return.

That being said, They will be FMC's. I think its just people not understanding what they are reading, and bad translations. I'll put money on that prediction.

If there is one thing that you can count on from ANY developer/artist is that they absolutely hate to have their work go unappreciated. The next big thing in 6th is flyers, FMC included. you can bet that any Monstrous creature with wings will have flight.

I agree.. I cant see how theyd have the two guys different between the books.

Even with a cost increase.. Ill prob still bring one.. Because they are awesome. Im excited for the return of the lord though.

If thy get to goofy priced though.. I can see just transferring to a bloodthirster.

It really seems like there isnt anything to crazy.. Just revisions. Im a bit bummed it sill doesnt have the flavour/feel of the cult armies from before.. But looks decent.

I like the shooty daemon engine and the dragon sounds pretty good.

where are all the damn rumors from the past three weeks? if codex was dropping first of oct, shouldnt there be leaked copies floating around by now? other than some rumors about release dates, i haven't seen anything NEW in the rumor mill since the second week of aug.
