predator executioner

baal predator with the lascannon battery tops off a regular turret cut and layered over the baal's flamer tanks, and the flamers barrel tip was trimmed in half to give more length for the plasma conduction coils. the coils are a single insulated 22 gauge wire from a phone line. once placed, i put some strips of plasticard to give the illusion its 2 sets of coils instead of just one; the wire was wrapped around both barrels instead of individually. i considered lengthening the barrel for more plasma coiling, but with how far the armoured portion of the barrel comes out, i decided not to.

Me likey. What's your plan for painting the coils? Any particular effect, or a simple metallic?

i havent decided just yet; itll either be blue or green, with the barrel tip golden.

compared to the LMR exacutioner plasma cannon its well puniy

thats cause the guard are small men overcompensating for their smallness, dom; everyone knows that!

in all seriousness though, the gun barrel's full length is over 1 and 1/2 inches long, which is the standard size for most tank barrels for 40k models.
