How did your stuck-in-the-mail situation arise? Seems like a long time to not have an army.

Having recently re-established contact with the man mailing me these minis, it seems they are all bundled up and ready to go, but just never quite make it out the door to the post office. As a result, it seems that my claim that they were being held hostage by the US postal system was in error, they are instead in the grasp of the terrorist element known as Sloth.

If no one minds, though, I could run a list in true highlander fashion:

Dom.0, I don't even know where to begin. You are responsible to bring a typed copy of your list. That means YOU, not someone else. You have known this for 3 weeks. In addition, you had to submit the list to me in a PM, not a public forum by midnight last night. I reminded you of this the last two days in a row. It's precisely this sort of behavior that makes it frustrating to deal with you. People would be willing to cut you some more slack if they saw you making an effort to meet them halfway. What should I do? What would you do if everyone except one player followed the rules? Please don't be late tomorrow.

well, on the plus side, (yes i see the irony in me typing this), Dom has improved. Look at how he wrote his list; he's got it ordered and structured in a readable fashion, although it needs a touch more work, such as not typing the basic wargear the models come with but typing only the optional wargear. and he even kept the sub-units of his infantry platoons in order so you know which units belong to which platoons. though he didnt put his Chimera with the unit that bought it. make sure to remember to do that, dom! the chimera has to start with the unit that purchased it, so you may as well group it with its parent-unit.

i sent him a pm with it typed a little cleaner, and told him his math doesnt add up either; his list is actually 1614pts, not 1599.

Bad news for me, possible good news for someone else

I have to drop out. My kids are doing things that would make Papa Nurgle sick.

Tim, if Planes or someone wants to take my spot and list, and its okay by you, lemme know. Getting out for a hour or so isnt an issue, it's 6-7 hrs while my wife gets to clean up the messes.

If it's any consolation, after a couple years, you get mostly immune to things as they go around! *laughs*

I like dom can't bring a typed list. I just went to print it off so its ready for the morning and was rather unhappy to find out that our printer is out of ink. I put the list on my phone for people to see a typed copy if they need to but i also wrote it out. Im really sorry.

@Mike. Thanks for doing that. You certainly didn't have to. Beau's news means there will likely be a bye unless Planes wants to play his list, which would be fine. See everyone in the morning!
