Cryptek Cheeses
mmmmm Cheese...
So... Imotekh, an Overlord, and two crypteks with Solar Pulses walk onto a board and their opponent says, "Who turned out the lights."
Two Overlords, 6 crypteks with Tremor Staves and 6 units of 5 warriors or immortals hang out with a C'Tan shard and say, "Hey, that open ground you're moving in is Dangerous Terrain."
Two Crypteks from Two Royal Courts wear parachute pants of darkness and do their best MC Hammer impression, "Can't Touch This." Oh-oh-oh-oooo-oh-oh

I don't think it's cheese at all. You certainly pay good points for those abilities. It will be really interesting to see what tricky combos the interwebs decide are good or not good enough. Those C'Tans especially are a crapload of points and don't really bring a lot of beatdown to the table. I love the fact that there seems to be a lot of viable builds for a Necron player. You want tricky combos? All Tesla? Wraithwing? Spyder/Scarab madness? It all seems cool and doable. Predictably the units that got hosed the most were the only ones that were good before (screw you Necron players, buy new models!). Destroyers and Monoliths seem like garbage now. But everything else looks pretty cool.

Monoliths are still kinda good. The portal can pick up units from anywhere on the table now, can use it's portal and particle whip, the portal can kill guys now, and it dropped to 200 points.
Kk, the nerd to living metal kinda sucked....
Destroyers are just 'meh' now. I might take some sometimes to shoot at MEQ guys.
I think Tomb Blades and Doom Scythes are both amazing. The Night Scythe is also quite awesome.

Agree on the Night Scythe. The Monolith is just a 200 point (still a lot of points) melta-target now. As for the Tomb Blades, they are interesting for sure. I'll have to wait and see on them. Wraiths and Spyders look pretty cool to me, as well as the Triarch Stalker.

The Monolith requires a lot more care, but I still think it's worth having 1 or 2 for mobility, and you get to fire the particle whip every turn. That thing always performs for me :-)
The Triarch Stalker has potential, but it is open topped, after the first penetrating hit, it also drops down to AV11. A bit of a glass cannon. At least with a doom scythe you can take out a couple of tanks or a chunk of a unit before it blows up (one or two shots per game for that beastie, might even have to deep strike it in, bring it forward under the cover of night fight)
