Ok so im paniting my army for toon con and i want to gett some relly good detail on a few of my modles. So i only need to know (well right now) is in this list below.
-The burnt steel at the end of flamers

Thin your paint a little with water, wipe most of the paint off your brush before touching the mini. That's the most important part I think of getting controlled paint going where you want it to go.
Scorched metal can be pretty easy if you use purple ink in several thin layers at the end of the barrel followed by yellow ink.
