The Summer of Slaughter

League starts up Wednesday 15th of June. Last day of play is August 31st. Play offs will start September 7th.

Games will be played at ANY points value below 2500pts, Doubles games may be played with up to 1250pts per player.
The standard force organization chart applies. No Forgeworld.
Your first game counts for the week, after that every game you play is worth 2pts + extra credit bonuses.
There will be a NEW SCENARIOS list up at the den, you roll 2d6 and it gives you a deployment, mission and secondary objective.

Your first game of the week will be scored in the following manner:

Absolute Butchery	You table your opponent before the game ends	+ 15pts + Infinite Ridicule on the forums you cheesy =I=censor=I=!
Domination	You win the primary and secondary objective	+ 15pts
Tactical victory	You were only able to secure a primary objective	+ 12pts
Someones poisoned the watering hole	You tied the primary objective but won the secondary	+ 9pts
Stone cold draw	You and your opponent ran out of bullets and gave up	+ 7pts
Strategic withdrawal	You let your enemy have the secondary objective only	+ 5pts
Punishing loss	Your enemy won the primary objective and left you crying	+ 3pts
Thanks for showing up	You lost every aspect of the game, but took it like champ	+ 1pt
Gore Blender	You got tabled	+ 1pt + Tom tells you how bad you are at 40k

Teachers pet extra credit options:

Fully Painted Army	No monochrome ninja's on the table	+ 5pts
In palm springs with my new friends	Played a team battle	+ 4pts
Switch hitter	Played a doubles game with a new partner	+ 3pts
Unemployed bum	Already played a game this week	+ 2pts
Will you be my friend?	Played someone for the first time this league	+ 1pt

So this summer the points will be huge, as you could quite possibly get 28pts for your first game.

Me likey. I particularly like the bonuses for new teammates and new opponents. $5 entry?

Doubles, each player still uses std FOC? Seems obvious but.... I've assumed worse things.

BTW, I get 29 possible for first game (15 for tabling + 5 for paining + 4 for a doubles game + 3 for a new double teammate +1 new opponent +1 new OTHER opponent). Or am I'm scoring wrong?

ah gotcha, each of the bonuses is capped at 1 ea. Sounds like fun, and should have a nice crowd.

I need a volunteer who has MS Word to send me their email so I can send them the sign up sheet to take down and drop off at the den, I'm working long days again this summer so I won't make it down there before the league starts.

As well, if you havent paid your league fees for this run, better get in a nd do it. I know a few people on the points list haven't, and if you don't pay up before playoffs then you wont make er in.

ANYONE NOT PAID UP FOR THE LEAGUE CAN NOT PARTICIPATE IN PLAY OFFS

Get $5 down to Darren by Wednesday or you forfeit your spot, there are 8 people paid up right now and they'll be the ones in the play offs if the other people on the scoreboard don't pay up by Wednesday.

Points Values as Follows:
1 Tim - 2000pts
2 Adam - 1985pts
3 Mike V - 1970pts
4 Dana - 1955pts
5 Mark - 1940pts
6 Ryan G - 1925pts
7 Dom - 1910pts
8 Scott - 1895pts

So I had to work late today and didn't make it to the den before they closed, I'll be at the den tomorrow around 7pm to check who's paid up.

Anyone who is not paid up by 7pm tomorrow is removed from the playoff list and replaced by someone who is paid up.

Just a quick reminder to a couple of the newer players in the play-offs. Make sure you do the following:

A) Use the exact same list for every game throughout the play-offs

B) You must bring a legible copy of your list to the game

C) Remember to make your lists from your play-off points listed.

The rules are floating for the play-offs, but just another important point. If the game ends up in a tie based on main objectives, go to Kill points. If Kill points are a tie, or were the main objective, the tie goes to whoever finished higher in the play-off standings.
