Team Tournament-Sunday, June 26th
Flyer and the signup sheet are at the Den. There is a packet with all the additional info, missions and scoresheets also. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU GET THE PACKET WHEN YOU SIGN UP. We will need at least 4 teams (16 players), and can handle up to 6 (24 players). If you don't receive one, please PM me w/ your email and I'll send the files to you. Also feel free to use this thread to put out feelers for teammates if need be. If there are any questions, either post them to this topic, or PM me.
See you all on the 26th

1500 POINT TEAM TOURNAMENT
OVERVIEW
• Over the course of the day your team will play a total of 6 games, over three rounds. Each round you will pair up with a different teammate to take on another teams pairing. You may not play with the same teammate twice. You are free to decide which pair play together in a given round, but keep in mind that pair cannot play together again.
• Ex. Andy, Bob, Chuck and Dave form a team. In the first round Andy and Chuck form one team and Bob and Dave play another. In round two they see they are playing against a tough opponent in one game and have Dave and Chuck (their best two players) play that game, while Andy and Bob play the other. In the last round Andy and Dave must pair up and Bob and Chuck must as well.
• There are no rules for allies and such, so anything goes. Grey Knight can align with Daemons, Tyranids and Necrons, for example. That said, it would look better if there was a common theme thru the teams (identical basing, common accent color, etc.)
RULES
• The tournament will begin on Sunday, June 26th at 10:00 AM at Dragon’s Den. Punch and pie.
• Teams will consist of 4 players, each with a separate army. Teams should submit their team name, members and an army list for each army at least one week before the tournament. $40/team. 4-6 teams total.
• Armies will consist of 750 points using the following force organization chart
o 1 Headquarters
o 1-3 Troops
o 0-1 Elite
o 0-1 Fast Attack
o 0-1 Heavy Support
o Any choices that don’t take up a place in the Force Organization chart are to be used as per their rules in their respective codices, and are not affected by the restrictions stated above for other types of choice (Space Marine Command Squads, CSM Chaos Spawn and Summoned Daemons etc.)
• No Forge World/Imperial Armor units, players may still use a FW model to represent a unit from their codex.
• All GW FAQ’s apply.
• Special/Unique/Named characters may be used, provided their rules allow them to be used in armies of 1500 points or less.
• Each round you will play a different team and pair up with a different team member.
• Please try to provide your own rulebook, codex, dice, templates, pen/pencil, calculator, laptop, alter to the Dark Gods, or whatever you feel you need during the course of play. Spares may or may not be available, and are not guaranteed to NOT be cursed.
• Please provide an army list to the judges beforehand (at least a week prior to the tournament). All players will be provided with an Army Builder printout for themselves and all opponents.
• In order for the tournament to keep on schedule, all players should drop their dice and stop playing when time is call- no exceptions. Please be aware of the time you have left and do not start a round you cannot finish. A warning will be provided at 15 and 5 minutes remaining. NO game turn should be started after the first warning period.
• Any illegal units/rules violations/general douche-baggyness will result in punishment up to and including the following:
o Removal of offending models or units.
o Removal of offending shirt or articles of clothing.
o Removal of offending douchebags.

Re: Team Tournament-Sunday, June 26th
In case anyone is concerned about turn out, here's is a list of ppl who have said they are interested in playing or have a team. If this has changed for anyone, let me know.
Justicar Jerome(Jody) -has a full team coming up from rhymes w/ fun.
Veyure (Greg) -said he has a full team already.
Canadin (Adam)
Termagant (Scott)
Timbo (Tim)-
Marc (not on forums, but indicated he will be joining)- all of the above said they would be interested at the tournament today, and had several ppl in mind already to add to teams.
Dusktiger (Mike)
Dan (not online)- have said they would play.
There is 14 ppl right there, and that could easily jump to 16-24. If anyone needs to reserve a spot b/c you can't make it to the Den, let me know and I can take care of sign up for you. Also if anyone can't find a team, you can just sign up individually and we can make a team out of singles.

Re: Team Tournament-Sunday, June 26th
Ok I have almost everyone's list in, 3 points.
1) Anyone interested in ordering pizza or something for the lunch break?
2)Paint/Appearance Scoring sheet: Everyone just needs to pencil in Team 5, and place their score. Every player will be rating opposing TEAMS (not individual armies) on a 1-10 scale.
3)Scenario 2: Lay of the Land.
Replace "Deployment (Pitched Battle)" with "Deployment (Modified Dawn of War)"
To clarify, each TEAM will deploy a TOTAL of up to 1 HQ and 2 Troops, drawn from BOTH lists. So you might have a BA Librarian and 10 Slugga Boyz in a Trukk. My bad, won't happen again.

Re: Team Tournament-Sunday, June 26th
if the weather's nice on sunday, we can just park a couple of us who have suv's or trucks with drop down tailgates together outside and make it like a tailgate party lunch. im not above going a little hillbilly if the weather's nice and the tailgate's handy. but if anyone spills anything in/on my blazer, be warned; you will be beaten. physically. and possibly emotionally if you really make a mess.
Re: Team Tournament-Sunday, June 26th
SC/DT: Weather is supposed to be nice, and I know I want to get some air and stretch during most of the tournaments so far. I'd bring a BBQ if I had one:)

Re: Team Tournament-Sunday, June 26th
thats why i keep looking for a hidden-hitch bbq. i know they're out there, but i cant seem to find one or how much they cost. but you basically attach it to the back and it swivels out so you can cook and use the tailgate as a prep/serving table
Re: Team Tournament-Sunday, June 26th

There is no and/or. Anything that uses propane can legally be used as a BBQ in Texas.
