Games for the week of Apr 10th-16th

I'll start. Paz you still up for a game vs my Grey Knights? I'm free after 5 everyday Mon-Fri except Thursday, and all day on Sat or Sunday. I just need to know in advance for the wife and kids.

Roland your on. Kinda Shy on the grey knights tho considering I myself am working on a list (But i will be bring' SM). But this way When i get smashed to bits I will know what works. lol I also saw a vid on Youtube Called "Hitler finds out People Dislike the Grey Knights" check it out". Thought it was funny as hell.

As an Ork, Cron, and Tau player, I live in fear of that assault thingy that makes your dudes kill your own dudes on an initiative check. (ouch, I2 armies...)

Canadin: I think all this is casual. Last week was the final league week. Robyn just posted who got in the playoffs this am. Maybe I shoulda asked Tom, he was on my bus this morning.

James: I can bring my GK, Ultrasmurfs, or um, the Primer Legion. You name points. I wouldn't be concerned about getting smashed to bits, I'm currently on an 1-15 run (and the one win was a forfeit). As Canadin how well my GK did. (In fairness, I played them INCREDIBLY stupidly).

Lore Weaver: Psychotroke Grenades (but only on a result of 6 on a d6).

In regards to the GK dex: Me and my nids are TERRIFIED of them.

Effective anti-swarm shooting: check
Anti psyker stuff: check
One-hit-kill MC's: check

It will be an uphill battle for sure.


So is this week the semi-finals or playoffs? I kinda forgot at the signup time that this is a rather busy time for me, what with my finals to write.

Roland - I was thinking a good casual 2k battle would do. And bring what ever army ya want. But the SM list i'm bring is more suited for Choas and Marines. But what ever ya decide is fine.

okay sounds good. I'll probly bring my Ultras, as I'm a little more in practice with them and Chaos and GK are a stretch at 2000.

Ya guys, by all means go down and play casual games on Wednesday, the den is booked for 40k on Wednesdays and from what I've seen it's dead every Wednesday night so definitely take advantage of that.

It is play offs this week so those games have priorities.

I've been noticing it seems like Thursdays are MUCH busier for games rather than Wednes. Seems like Wednes has at most 2 games going, and Thurs it's 3-4. Don't know if it's a quirk with ppls schedules or what.

@ Tyson!!:: if you can reply by the mid-afternoon, then we should have our finals game. So far its been pretty even between us, lets see what I can do with a 45 point handicap bonus.

Also, yeah Thursday is the Planetary Empires Campaign night and Wednesday is the Hunters League night, it's also magic night.

I haven't brought it up on the site before but I'd prefer it if more people came out for league night on Wednesday because there's just no space on Thursdays and it's starting to cause problems with getting campaigns played.

From the other thread, off-hand I don't really have a problem with the Mega-Dread (I can't remember the rules for it, and it's not experimental anymore, so they took them down off the website. If you could give me a rough desc, I'd appreciate it.)

Maybe we can take a vote on whether to allow FW before the next league starts up? I'm kinda with DuskTiger on this, it probably should be all or nothing just for simplicity. I'd imagine it's the Lucius pattern drop pod (and possibly the ironically named LR Achilles)? I see where the "cheese/beardy" cries are coming from, but it's no worse than anything else that's perfectly legal (Nob Bikers, Veteran Melta Spam, etc)
