Hey everyone, looking to get some games in on my week off.

I'm free Tuesday to Friday and possibly the weekend as well except for Wednesday after 6:30.

I'll be playing a necron list up to 2000 points.

I could probably throw together a 1500 pt Dark Harvest list quick enough. Would Thursday around 3 work for you, down at the Den?

Not sure if you're familiar with the Dark Harvest at all, so if you have any questions just ask. The Dark Harvest list is for the Maynarkh Dynasty, which is lousey wit the Flayer Virus, and thus very much wanting into melee. Makes for quite a different Necron experience.

I looked it up last night, so I have the general idea of the majority of differences, but I'm sure I'll have a question or two while we play lol.

Doomsday Ark

Nice, it's been a while since I last saw a Veil used. It's a nifty looking list, with I presume Obyron dragging the court around with him. Very sparse on troops, though. And once again the Gaze of Death C'Tan comes for my Flayed Ones and Scarabs. I've never actually seen a Doomsday Ark deployed before, what with re-positioning nerfing its gun for a turn and all. Should be an interesting match.

Pretty much spot on, I haven't used a veil cryptek before though, and his abysmal staff will be fairly useless against necrons, but he might just be able to get a unit into a ideal position to take a key target.

I've always used Gaze of Death with my C'tan, my first game with it tallied an eight man CSM squad in one turn due to some bad rolling on my fiends part. And as for the Ark, if it has a good starting position with lots of sight lines, it can reach the entire board with a 72" range, just need to keep everyone away from it lol.

My Vargard group is a tough nut too, I took them against my buddies Abbadon and 5 man termie squad and won combat first round by 4, with the extra lord at the 1850 point range.

I'm just worried that on turn 1 your scoring units will disappear.

That is true, maybe ill drop a lord and boost my warriors.....

Yeah, those Lords are going for 120 a pop, sans res orb. I love the idea of the gank squad court with a Nemesor/Vargard delivery system, but it feels like something better suited to 2k points . While dropping one does impact the strength of the gank squad, it nearly doubles your Warrior count.

Decided to drop the stalker and I'll boost my warriors to a 10 man and an 11 man squad.
