Regular Tournaments?

Seeing how good of a turnout there was on Saturday, I would like to start holding 40k tournaments regularly.
So, I am wondering, would there be an interest in having one every month? or if that too often?

Every month seems much IMO.
perhaps every quarter? This way people don't get burned out.

Something better would be like having contests monthly and a tournament every 3-4 months. Contests like speed painting or mini game challenges or thing like that.

I like the idea of a regular 1500/2000 pt tourney every other month and in the months in between doing something differnet (Kill-team/Combat patrol tourney, Iron painter, Apoc, etc.)

I tried really really hard to keep to get some contests up and running, but they just couldnt get any traction..

If someone else wanted to run one though, definitely give er a whirl. I d try again, but Im to busy right now to partcipate so wouldnt be a good role model..

pbbt! Too busy... Maybe someone has to start looking more carefully at their priorities. Hmmm?

If all continues to go well, then I will most likely be runing 40k tournaments every other month.

If someone would like to create an event for the in-between months, then feel free to do so.
