Upcoming Tournaments

Hi all,
Next Team Tournament will be in March, I'm thinking the 17th, unless I'm overlooking something.

Tom, any concerts or festivals since we've made you miss the last 2 and Skyrim?

Format will be similar to the last one.

I'm also thinking of running a reualr tournament in Janruary if anyone is interested. Basic format will be similar to how the Team Tournament is run. Would be 1500pts, 12 slots unless I have a LOT of interest. Still planning everything else.

It would be four man teams?

I don't have campaigns to run or other stuff going on, so I should be good to go... My army is strangely in vogue now! *laughs* goooo Mindshackle Scarabs.

Edit: If it's Jan 7th then it'll hinge on me delegating campaign debrief in Regina to someone :-P (one of those things I should do, but that's why we have a team, m i rite?)

LW: regular tournnament on either Jan 14 or 28th, Next Team tournament is the March one.

I'd be in for a january tournament but unfortunately i'll be long gone by the time the next team tourny comes around.

no i havent got a expaltion from adem yet then again i havent relly asked him

Adam had 2 guys have to bail b/c of work. Dom was going to fill in for one of them but we never found a fourth.

I think I have a working solution if this happens again.

they dont play, you take their money, and the next time anyone sees them they get to smack em with a paddle a la "the Gauntlet" style?

Um, no.

More along the lines that if someone has to bail, I'll have a "ringer" list and models for them to use. Whoever would normally pair up with the missing player would control both armies.

That is a good idea, the only minor flaw is that the person reviving the ringer list might not know the dex which could slow things down but thats a lot better than not playing.

1500 pt standard tourney is ON for Jan 14th (Sat). Sign up sheet and details by next week.

Next Team Tournament will be Mar 17th (Sat). Details will follow.

Hey everyone, Scott here.

I changed jobs and still finishing up with the last one. I am working 28 straight days so Warhammer, or even modelling or reading a 'dex are out of the question right now. I hope to get a game in sometime in December, as my schedule will calm down slightly.

I now have Sundays off and Saturdays are optional overtime, which I usually take. I should be able to make most tourneys from now on. Tentatively, I will be at the tourney in January and team tourney, I'd like to. We'll see when it gets closer to the tme.
