aoe buffs... no its not a wow topic
Hey couldnt come up with a better term. So lets say you have a unit, like a rune priest, that has the power stormcaller. The power says that any unit within 6 inches gets a 5+ cover save. Does this mean the entire base needs to be within 6 inches, or just part of it?
terms
i think unit refers to a squad. if it doesn't say model you should be safe.

Yea you are right, it does say unit. Cant possible mean every model in the unit has to be inside... but would it operate like a normal cover save, where the majority of the unit would have to be within 6" i wonder?

I'd have to assume it works pretty exactly the same as an Ork kustom force field and Fateweaver's ability, and I dont believe any of the new powers say the unit has to fully within that range.
Like the new disembarkation rules, it says deploy within 2", but you only have to have part of the base within 2", not all of it. Going by that rationale, your probably safe as long as only part of the unit is within 6".. at least thats how Id play it.
