I don't see anything to crazy scary. I mean the warriors are tough sure, but still just 20 dudes with bolters that can glance/wound vehicles/mc. And if you manage to beat them in a round a combat you can get them to run off? Unless you have Zandrek in the unit as well. But still not tons of offense.

I suppose we'll have to play at some point and seeeeeeee!

The big thing with this list is it's incredible powers of attrition. It doesn't do anything terribly flashy, it just fails to succumb to your opponent's flash. You creep the core of the army up onto the valuable objectives, and then sit there like a rock. With RP now being akin to a save rather than a sub-phase action that Warrior blob is much more resilient to getting swept, getting to roll when they otherwise wouldn't. That one turn is likely all the time you need to have an answer show up and deal with the "peas in your porridge".

Personally I'd try to find a way to shoe-horn in an Ghost Ark just to crank things up to 11 in the anti-death machine, both by sheltering the 10 man squad and regenerating the 20 man squad. Dropping 3 Scarabs and 3 Immortals would give you enough points for both a Ghost Ark and a gun on the Spyder, also netting you more shooting through-put at the same time. The wonderful thing with the Scarabs is they don't need to be a big points investment so long as you have a Spyder to feed them. I've learned that lesson after playing Charnel Scarabs extensively with Dark Harvest, keep the Scarab squads cheap.

I think it is interesting, but could it withstand some of the more offensive based lists out there now?

Should be interesting to see how 'Crons handle MC without mindshackle scarabs. Getting challenged out could be bad news. Although they are still stupid tough to put down in the first place.

(Edit: Dropping 3 warriors and the flayed ones drops down to 1720, bring back a scarab base to 1740, then 10 mystery points left -- enough for a Gloom Prism for some psychic protection)

Yep.  The other option is to scrap the Royal Court all together, but the Cryptek is just tooo good.  

The Scythe Lord goes in the blob squad, so he can kill a dude or two per round and get me some combat resolution points.    Zandy's pretty decent at not dying ever in a challenge (+ I could change his warlord trait to some fearless thing, although he starts with Zealot...)  2+/4++/4+++

Edit: If I had the models, I could scrap the Royal Court and take a stalker and two units of Praetorians.

Then I'd drop either the scarabs, the flayed ones or the group of ten warriors. Those are the three pieces that look the least important.

Flayed Ones aren't required, but the warriors and the scarabs are, for the formations to work.
