Tyranid Dataslate

Ok, so through the glory that is the internet I have seen this dataslate, and I'd say there's lots of "nifty" in there, but nothing terribly broken.

Perhaps the biggest stand out in the bunch is the Lictor Forest Brood, which is a Brood of 5 Lictors. Where things get weird, though, is the formation special rule, Deadly Fruit.

Deadly Fruit gives the brood Shrouded in place of Stealth when in Forests. No big deal. However: "... in addition, models from this Formation that are deployed within a Forest using the Infiltrate special rule can be set up within 6" of an enemy model."

Not "up to 6" away from", within. You can literally choose to park your Lictor Brood 1" away from an enemy unit, providing they are close enough to a forest to pull it off. With 5 of them sitting there with Shrouded(Forests) and being outside of synapse (allowing Go to Ground), 3+/2+ cover saves on 15 wounds of models. That turn 2 Mawlock is going to lay down some hurt. That being said, it is 250 points to pull that trick off, and some armies would like nothing better than a turn one assault to start their day.

Being that you don't scatter when deepstriking near a lictor (deathleaper too?) // combo's good with the Mawloc.
