Oh we breached it long ago. Normally I just wait and get paid during pickup of the figs but if this gets much more...

unfortunately this weeks work schedule is ugly so picking up before hand is unlikely.

I want to get something.. i just cant decide between a storm eagle, fire raptor, spartan or sicarian.
My gut is fire raptor because it.looks cool and can dish out a lot.. but im always whining about chaos transports so a storm eagle or spartan would be a good choice.

Mike.. how do you like the storm eagle?

25m capacity 5hp and 2 quad lascannons... 65pts more than land raider, how could you say no to the spartan? unless you use cultists i dont think you can ever fill it lol.

and heads up just a few days left before the order is placed.

10 Termies plus attached characters would fill that up pretty quick, too. Typhus and a Palaquin Sorcerer would take you up to exactly 25.

Forgot that makes em very bulky. Picture Kharn, abaddon, zufor and Fabius bile with khorne marked marines to fill it up. Str 6 on the charge marines with mark of khorne for 4 attacks each? Paste almost anything on the charge.

I have yet to field the storm eagle just getting paint on it now, hopefully done soon.

I have trouble fielding it in 1500 point game as its so many points off the table on turn 1 and even with it being an assault vehicle, the soonest you can get a charge in is turn three. I'm just having trouble with the logistics of playing it in my head.

turn one.. nuthin
turn two. hopefully make reserve roll. fly on, get really close to something that i want to charge with my payload.... kill some xenos with big guns... maybe
turn three. go into hover mode, move 6 in, discharge payload... payload hopefully rolls good on charge range.

its that time between turn 2 and 3 that worries me. since your move onto the table is going to be excedingly obvious as to where your assault troops are going, it gives your opponent a turn to respond.
