Dreadnought-Knight Empty Dreadnought-Knight

So I wanted a Dreadknight for my new Grey Knight army since conceptually I like the idea of a big mech/machine designed to go toe to toe with Greater Demons and whatnot (and my love of giant robots). However, I cannot stand the baby on board look with the current model. With that in mind last night I made this.

It was an actually very simple conversion and I am happy with the results. It does suffer slightly from tiny torso syndrome, but since the actual conversion portion took < 35 minutes I'm ok with it.

It looks pretty solid. If you wanted to give it some more height, you could always put some Space Marine banners on the "shoulders" of the Dreadnought portion, have them flying his heraldry and such.

Thanks Mike. I was tempted to try and keep a part as a codpiece, might have to see what I can come up with Razz

Well its less vertical height but more the fact that each arm/leg is roughly the same size as the entire torso. Its not a big enough deal for me to put more work into it with how easy the conversion was (basically cut 2 pieces off the dreadknight kit and then drill/trim the arms/nubs so the arms would attach).

You could cut a bit off the top of the legs, make them a little more proportional maybe

At that point the arms are left huge. Like I said, I think its fine for the amount of time I put into it. Also the Dreadnought portion was already put together, so if I started from scratch with both kits I could mesh them a bit better.
