CSM/Daemons Empty CSM/Daemons

Here's a version of the CSM/Daemon list I've been using. It's been performing well except it does have a couple weaknesses. I've scaled back the Bloodthirster back to 270 points in recent games, and in higher point games I've added a walking Daemon Prince, Daemonettes, and Nurglings. I really need to bulk up the Flamers and potentially add another unit. They are a scary unit. I've also used a Quad gun a few times and it's fantastic. Biut, Comms Relay for Daemons gives you a good chance to get everything in on turn 2.

Tactics are very simple. Have the Plaguebearers and Plague Marines sit behind the Aegis line and go to ground when needed. Hopefully they can camp on two objectives given the lines length. Everything else agressively deep strikes to harass the enemy and stay away from the Nurgle units.

Ryan gave me a beating with his Space marine list posted earlier, but with DP being able to fly and the Bloodthisters ability to be swooping when coming in, it will be a bit tougher I think.

I like it because it has alot of scoring units, and it's completely different from a standard list, and alot of fun to play. I'd love to take this list to Tooncon but I dont know if I get that much painting done. I'd have to finish the horrors, flamers, plague marines, and paint the vindicator and Bloodcrushers from scratch.

plagues going to be hiding behind defense lines. Better than meltas at range and rapid fire.

Does the coms unit work for the daemons with the new FAQ?

its worded weird. and its outside of the FoC chart for the CSM... so i'de think it still works. but... ?

nevermind. the daemons are your primary detachment.. the csm are just manning it for you Smile

Yup !

Yeah.. Its a weird list all right with some weaknesses.. But darn fun. And i think opponents like seeing it as well since its bit off the beaten trail with nothing to crazy.. Unless flamers deepstrike in, take out 4 bikers and some hull pointsoff your vindicator.
