Well, the finals are finally wrapped up and congratulations to .. Tom! It's Tom's first reign as league champ, so nice to see some new faces sitting at the top. It's hard for any army to face up against an Ork horde, but I hear Paz did his darndest and while he put a big chunk into them, he couldn't quite pull it off. So, congrats Tom.
Paz is denied the coveted championship one more time. If it makes you feel any better, I made it to 6 final playoff games before I got a league title. Your time ia coming, keep on plugging in there!

If you think about it, both my 22nd place prizes combined equal a first place prize! ... right? yeah, yeah thats it...

But in all seriousness, t'was a fun game, I tried killing off one ork horde at a time, and by second turn, had knocked off more than 40 orks! But it was not to be, Ork hordes fight battles of attrition, and daemons hit hard but can't last in a meatgrinder.
Props to my soul grinder, that managed to suck at shooting, but held up two 30 boy squads in cc until he had managed to kill 3 killa kans, then got exploded by a klaw, exploding and taking out 5 more orks!
Also, Ghazkull is rocks. Seriously... like titanium rocks.

I fully attribute my win to GriffTooth Ringworm, my stormy boyz captain, he did an amazing job, he killed 1 penetant engine in game 1, a razorback in game two, and got killed before he could attack by a khorne dude riding on a big thinger.
seriously tho, it was a great play-offs for me, all my games were close even though I completely rocked the boat by not playing a power armor clad elites army lol.
