Funny rule

Ok, so ive been convincing my cousin Ryan to play 40k for a while now and he finally decided to join in the fun. His girlfriend was also interested so they both went out and bought a bunch of models (my cousin has a 2500 point army in less than 3 months, scary).
Well the rule i mention was a mistake from Ryan's gf. she was using an ogryn against ryan's marines and that single ogryn slaughtered two whole squads of guys. Every turn ryan would deal one or two wounds to it but it seemed invincible. Aparently his gf thought that multiwound models had those wounds per turn. So end of every turn she was removing all the wounds on her guy.
Now woudn't that be awesome if my 4 wound prince needed to take 4 wounds in one turn before he went down. 3 wounds this turn? not enough he's gonna kick your but next round....

When I first started I thought rapid fire could be done with any weapon... I had some drednaughts taking two shots a piece with multi meltas...
