Fracas in Edmonton

Wow, looks like alot of fun. 2 days of 40K, 6 games.. sneak peeks, Golden Demon, etc. all in Edmonton. What's the down side.. $100 entry fee.. wow !
However, Im still going to tgive this serious thought. We dont get many good events this close.. and the driv eto Edmonton is easy as pie.. not like that crappy drive to Calgary.

Hmm, that is tempting. It's close to when I'm expecting relatives but if it misses them then I'd be interested as well.

You can drive to Edmonton with your eyes closed and still have a a pretty good chance at getting there. Plus, you can there in 5 1/2 hours with some dilligent driving.
Getting to Calgary is a pain in the ass... plus you have all the two lane driving which slows you down .. there are always semi's or idiots to pass.
I'm going to give this some consideration for sure.

How does this match up with the tournie scot is planning? will they conflict at all?

I think the Saskatoon 40K one would be towards the end of Feb., but not 100% sure on the date yet.

The Saskatoon Tourny will continue with my support, but I am handing the bag over to Robyn and Carson Gallant as it's their jobs... DO something guys! Just kidding, but I would think our dates should be pushed back in light of this.
On the other hand my initial sparring session with the wife produced favorable results so it would seem likely I CAN go to Edmonton to represent on som sucka's.
