That Drone Net and Broadside Wing are both super awesome.

As August gets closer and we get more serious about the Winnipeg Event, we'll run a mini-event for people to tests lists.

Its only one unit of markerlights and they are the only thing that ignores cover saves. After that you just zoom up and either plasma talon people or punch them in the face.

Looks good except I would run 2-4 units of the drones with markerlights. They are the whole reason you run the drone network (intercepting markerlights is sooooo good). That way people like me can't alpha strike your drone network easily. (Or heaven forbid a skyhammer force)

I could make all of the drone units half marker lights also, to spread them out.

Eh, with the riptide so and the small groups of warriors you should be fine for clearing chaff units so the gun drones don't serve much of a purpose. Also those riptides are meh until they have marker lights to use.

With 3 in a unit you are only getting 1.5 marker lights per. Which really isn't enough to do anything. You want 3+ to ignore cover and boost bs. Especially on the ion accelator so you can reroll the overheat for the blast.

I'd also switch the ghostkeel to an ion raker? The multi shot one, the fusion collider seems good but in your list I'd be using him to open rhinos, so you just want glances.

Ya good point on the drones. Just like the idea of the gun drones I guess.

Must have forgot to switch the gun on the ghostkeel. I always rock the ion raker.

I like the idea of gun drones too. But like many things you can get more str5 ap5 shooting easier in the list.

Side note any particular reason for each squad having the shas'ui with a markerlight? I always thought it was really expensive for a single markerlight. Might be able to save some points. Especially if you swap the drones out.

The drones will cost the same regardless of the type. Gave the fire warriors more markerlights for the sake of more markerlights. Don't really know what I'd spend the 60 points on at this point. Velocity trackers for the riptides I suppose.
