Frost-Thirster

Got this guy for xmas.

going for something different than the generic red blood for the blood god thing with the model.  

tested out the airbrush for the first time beyond just basecoating and weathering effects.

i think he turned out ok, pictures whitewash out some of the colour cuz of my lighting.

I'm dissatisfied with the cold-fire at his feet -  might go back and go with blended brush strokes instead of washes and drybrushing -     dunno.

Texture paint snow from GW on the skull base turned out good i think

PS.. any way to get forums not to turn pics on thier side, or change viewing orientation?

Very nice! Love the look.

Just a warning tho, you're gunna get dinged for base size if you ever bring him to a tourney. He comes with an oval base, mad the general rule is base he comes with. I know the old thirster came with a 60mm base but he was a lot smaller.

i have a magnetized big oval for running in games.

the skulls from his fire base matched up pretty awesome with some resin skull bases i brought in a few years ago from kromlech or something and couldnt pass it up.

Love the cold thirster look. We need a super thirster multimatch some time! Get all the thirster's together and battle for khorne's favour!
