Lions Blade listy list.....

So what I'm aiming for is a lions blade detachment where I basically keep the demi co as is and plug and play the various formations as aux. The basic go to ones would be the RW attack sqd and the DW redemption force. With a possibility of adding a second demi and a unit of scouts and running a battle co.

Prob is I plugged in my wishlist for a demi and DW anx it's almost 2000! How should I fix it.

Thinking building the battle co first and then splitting it as needed. I can fit the Battle co in 1750 but it's tight and janky as hell.

So here's the basic Battle Co in all its janky glory.

Low end is 750, high end is 930, per demi, not counting transports. With transports those should be

750+105+225=1080

& 930+105+105=1040

So roughly 700 to play with for Aux....

i would save yourself the points for more stuff by knocking the assault squad razorbacks down to either the default Heavy Bolters, or upgrade them to the Heavy Flamers; you're going to use these units to jump out, thin the herd of an infantry squad, then likely either run in to mop up or or jump back into the razorbacks and rush over to another area to harass someone else. Putting an anti-horde infantry unit with a turret meant for elite infantry hunting just wastes points because the weapons wont synergize. You're either sacrificing the assault marines so you can pop off a lascannon and plasmagun, or getting 2/3 overkill shots on a unit that your flamers will gobble up as it is.

If you're making all the tacticals field meltaguns, you might be better off trading their razorback turrets to Multi-meltas; you're going to be rushing in for the meltagun anyways, may as well toss in another big gun that'll benefit from the same rules. and for the hell of it, give the sergeants combi-meltas; swapping the assault marine razorbacks down will give you the points to do it.

Meltas on tacts are more of a place holder. There will likely be a variety of weapons there.
