I've got a better list for you to play next time, might actually give you a challenge.

Its that dirty Rasail! Also where the crates were placed gave me a fairly solid advantage with two behind total cover. Allowed me to deploy in a way so that my speicialsts had more or less unobstructed paths to them. And my nikoul had the perfect sniper perch all game.

It was that dirty Nikoul that gave me trouble. I had no ranged weapons and he had too much support for me to get close with smoke grenades for my Asura to be effective. That coupled with bad dice rolling and a list I'd never played made for kicked ass soup.

if it makes you feel better that list would have been dynamite vs Dallas' list. I really struggled with so many camo markers. I can't really think of a good way to deal with that much camo other than hope the mission isn't horrible (it was!).

That list was designed to fight Dallas' camo spam but he chickened out after your game.

Yea, lots of msv would give his list trouble. Although bombing my rasail down a side worked just as well. Having so many wounds on a gsync model is silly sometimes.

I would love if tohaa had a couple more msv options. The gao real is the only level two and the nikoul sometimes has a hard time deploying with Sapper. I wish it didn't make him S0 when dug in. Any lip on a high building means he cannot see.

Also I think even with the two order penalty going first is still really important. Or maybe I notice it more due to not having much deployment abilities.

I think in that mission going second is better because it sort of gives you hammer (see: curling) with it scoring every round. I was just really in the hole with how the terrain was setup and the side I got. I had one side locked down by a sniper and another that was locked down by a Rasail and an Ectros HMG in a link. Pretty nasty stuff. I think if I would have done it all again I would have loaded up the one side to negate your sniper a little. Zero-V smoke to the rescue!

That's true. I think I'm just bad at deploying to go second. Every time I do in infinity I lose. Although I blame the loss to Jordan since he has cheater robots.

And is just a big cheater in general.

My deployment game definitely needs some work.
