League Start-up

There's a sign-up sheet at the den for the league.

I'll post up the "official" rules shortly, but I don't see us diverging to much from the norm.

So far it's me and robyn signed up!

Is it a normal league, or this escalation one that everyone's been chattin' about?

normal, the escalation is for ppl who might want to do that, seperately from the league

well sort of separately, Robyn said the games would still count for the league. The rules are different.

lol, yeah, what tom said. I meant separately in the sense you don't have to escalate if you don't want to

<-works with people that are experts are misinterpretation so i tend to be over specific.

I'm signing up Thursday night.

I think Darren is folding the $45 from the previous league that didn't quite fire into the prize pool for this one as well.

Yeah, I talked to him about it.

I think a few people signed up, although there was never an official league running. He doesn't have the sign-up sheet from then so we'll figure it out.

Hey all! Has there been a posting of the official league rules yet?

I'll get something fixed up right away for all the new folks.

The format is very basic though... you play games, report them, and we keep track of points for about 11-12 weeks. Then, the top 8 players have a elimination play off tournament. If you search for playoffs or go back through the first forum (Voxcast Magenta) you'll see some playoff format examples.

But in terms of parameters.. play games, anything you and your opponent agrees on, and thats it.
