do you have enough nightlords for a foc army for age of darkness? if so, when our hq's get here we should have a hh game!

It's still a slow going side project. Currently I have an Apothecary, 5 marines, 5 raptorsp, raptor gunship and a Contemptor. Proxying with Csm models is my best bet.

Were you supplied with a rough timeline on the order?

Benefit of playing alpha legion in age of darkness: they are both loyalist and traitor, so, fluff wise I can fight anyone :p

once our gubbins come in we should try and proxy in a game, interested to see how age of darkess marine-on-marine action runs.

Unfortunately forge world seem to have a thing against sending tracking numbers and while they reply to questions ASAP they seem to send the tracking number a day after the package arrives. Either late this week or next week would be my guess.


I picked night lords because of the book trilogy (it's awesome, read it), they seem more an assault based army focused on mass assaults and because they pretty much look the same I can use some stuff in 40k.

If it ever does come up my iron tenth is always up for a good throw down

Yeah, the ADB night lords books were so good. They haven't changed much from HH :p

Have you read prince of crows or unremembered empire in the HH series? Great night lords reads (also turns out Konrad curze was the beatstick of all beatsticks for primarchs)

what was the order of scariest cc primarchs (books not rules)
I thought it was Horus> sanguinus> Russ/angron and I never figured out where Curze fit. Seemed like every time someone actually had to face him they realized the threat and ran.

Kurze vs corax- corax gets one of his Lightning claws shattered, and flees
Kurze vs Dorn- almost throttles Dorn to death
Kurze vs vulkan- kurze again wins... Kinda? Vulkan is cheater tho
Kurze vs lion- kurze stabs lion, gets stabbed by dark angel dude. Then coma.
Kurze vs lion+ guilliman- blows them up, basically murders all of macragge

Jesus kurze gets around in the heresy, dude is truly evil

Horus of course is boss of all (after Molech and the chaos trials), but sang. Does kill a bloodthirster lord, aaafter getting his back broken. Horus gets beat by a nurgle daemon prince...

Nurgle daemon prince who was his friend wielding a weapon designed to kill him. In all fairness he did kill the prince

check out "Horus Heresy: Vengeful Spirit" if you want to see Horus wrecking face.

well yeah, but magnus was almost on par with old emprah for telekinetic and psychic powers.

The series as a whole is rather entertaining, and even has some plot of its own after a bit.

so apparently something in our order was out of stock so forgeworld waited til it was back so they could send it as a whole order (wish they would ask if we wanted the rest sent separate but w/e).
so still will be a week or two before it gets here.
