Rare Earth Magnets (Cam?)

'Sup thugs.

I could've PM'd Cam but I wanted some info that maybe anyone can give me.

-I want to pick up some of these in the small hand-weapon-swappy sizes as well as some for Flames of War tank turrets. Have you got any to trade Cam (or anyone else)

-Also if not I think I'd like to order some. Where do i best go shopping for these and does anyone have any reccomendations/horror stories about this?

Also Cam I got your Black Orcs. I'll bring them to the Den Friday night (Warhammer tourny) and leave 'em behind the counter.

We placed a big order for these awhile back. I've got a bunch of the little teeny tiny ones.. like 2mm ones. And by alot I guess I mean about 20 or so.. you can have them all if you want. I los ethem all the time, and then they turn up stuck to a drill or a file or something. Ive used a couple before, but I;ve never made any weapon swap guys since all my chaos marines just carry pistols.

HOwever, if we were to make an order Id grab some of the bigger ones again.. those are great.

Cam will have to answer the company we got them from, he placed the order last time.

No charge, their yours. I bought them thinking I'd use weapon swaps, but I just never have. I have to find them first, although I think I saw them just awhile ago stuck to something.

Ill look for them tonight.

Yea i have magnets as well, in a variety of sizes. If robyn is giving you the ones i think he is, you may find them a little small. Let me know if you need some larger ones, not sure ill give them away free though. Ill try to make it down to the den on friday night, but if not ill leave you some cash behind the counter. I get mine at Lee Valley, it's a good store and you can buy them in bulk for cheap, a better deal for ten at a time (7 bucks for 10).

The last time i checked lee valley did not have the smaller ones that i needed, but its worth looking into.

The only problem with the Lee Valley ones is that they are the "rod" type.. the smallest one is as thick as it is wide. It would be ok for mounting weapons for tanks or something, but would be to big for small weapon swaps.

As far as I know, no where else in town besides Lee Valley sells rare earth magnets. If someone knows of another place though, that'd be cool.

Those ones would work awesome for vehicle mounts, wings, etc. It's good to know they sell them in town, thanks Chris.
