lol, yea, cause c'tan really needed help to be better, right?  not sure if giving him FNP was necessary, but making the crypteks get up to T8 is a pretty big buff for those little guys.

Our opinion of what is and isn't good for Crons may change in 30 days.

Ctan are no worse than Wraithknights/Riptides and the like

C'Tan are terrible, only useful for gimmicks, or luckily rolling a tonne of 4+'s and stomping Matt's Bloodangels in the face.

I was going to say, the C'Tan shards are pretty bad compared to wraithknights/riptides/dreadknights. The formation is neat because it is another delivery system for crypteks which tend to be fairly awesome.

dunno. do you really want your ctan saddled with two crypteks that dont have the same movement abilities as the ctan? one of the ctans best abiltiies for me is moving through stuff at speed. they gotta stay together as a unit...

The formation is just for the C'tan Shard right? That is just the monstrous creature in their codex?

Nope, it's a Shard + 2 Teks as a squad. Which means deep strike shards now.
