Has anyone had any experience with this company? They sell modelling supplies and tools.

About a month an a half ago I ordered a Tube Tool set and Chain Tool from them for use in various projects of mine, and I'm still waiting. Apparently they're waiting on manufacturing to get the tool to them, and have offered to give me an extra Tube Tool to make up for the delay. That being said, they are rather slow to get back to you with emails when asking for status updates.

Is this par for the course with this company, or is this just a case of placing an order at the most inopportune time possible?

Well, 52 days since I wired them the money, and I still don't even have a timeline. I filed a dispute through PayPal earlier today. Hopeful this lights a fire under their but and they get moving, otherwise I'm just going to want my money back and get my hands on an analogous product from a supplier in Spain by means of eBay. Kinda hoping MasqMini pulls through, since I want the Chain Tool as well.

When I finally get my hands on one of these tools, I'll be sure to post up a review for any who are interested.

For those who use PayPal on a frequent basis, it is worth noting that you only have 45 days from time of transaction to file a dispute, which can then be escalated into a claim.

i like paypal because its universal and its kind of like writing a cheque, it comes straight out of your bank account and your not giving a shady website your credit card. just an extra level of security.

also... easier to do shady transactions cuz any dude anywhere can send you an invoice and you can just pay it. Smile

Can't say I'm terribly impressed with these folks, but I finally have a tracking number, and I only had to threaten legal action to get it. Tres unprofessional.

Their most recent letter, and I quote.
