so now that all shooting is resolved at the same time with the same guns (and characters lost precision attacks), does that mean that chaos champions get easier access to the boon table?

"all of the models in the unit that are firing the selected weapon shoot at the same time" brb 31

so now if you mow down a sergeant as a result of grouped fire do you get to roll? it looks legit...

Looks correct to me.

So long as the champion has a die in the wound pool I think you're right.

Unless your Tzeentch, in which case you've got a power weapon :-P

its very restrictive. either normal melee attacks, bolt/bolter shots or if your daring plasma pistols. so its not huge but its gives another shot at the chart which is awesome.

Ive always had a problem with the idea you can get a boon from a shooting attack..   BUT  I can see the rationale much more now though. And..  it's only gonna be bolt weapons so yeah.. I think it looks good with the new rule now?
