So the 40k champs is done and not a single deathstar was in the finals! Although I guess that it was FMC Daemons/csm is not the most amazing thing.

Makes sense, Death Stars can be countered, and not awesome when playing so many varied lists.

every list has something fail in it Mike Razz

actually, the autocannon isn't that bad, its just not as good as the baleflamer in most cases. Also, the autocannon gets much -much better with Prescience. which, with the number of psykers in that list...
