League Match Wednesday the 12th after 7:15PM

Heyo,

Anyone up for a league match, 1750pts of my CSM at 7:15PM-ish tomorrow night?

I'd love to, but until my next pay cheque rolls though, I won't be back in toon town.

So Robyn and I had an epic Mark and Robyn, Robyn and Mark clash of titans.

Robyn was kicking the tires on Raptors and a Vindicator.

I played Two helbrutes and Two Forgefiends.

There were a number of improbable dice rolls (balanced by epic saves). Worst for me was losing an obliterator to a "gets hot" roll on a twin-linked plasma gun.

In short, because no one takes Walkers anymore, I managed to get a Helbrute stuck in combat with Robyn's Nurgle Bike dude. The other brute got shot by a landraider, enraged, then charged it and killed it.

With saturation of AV12, things happen. Although I strongly suspect it wouldn't work out so well against Tau or Eldar (too much S7+ shooting).

If there is a Helburte Formation that allows 1-3 Helbrutes, playing a 6 Brute 3 Forgefiend list is quite tempting. Could you imagine?

or extend the formation maulerfiends? i like the maulerfiend, seems like if it wasn't a HS choice, i'de field it a lot more.

Oblits are too nice of a tool to have in the toolbox.
