Just a quibble. You don't want that many D-scythes on your wraithguard. One squad, two tops, would be enough. Wraithcannons are really good at shooting a lot of things that the wave serpents struggle with. In the same vein you have 4 bright lances from your wraith lords. With how good scatter-serpents are I would only take one with a bright lance.
Are you leaving the Heavy wraithcannons on the wraithknight? I cannot remember if switching to the sword drops them or not. If so I would argue that the sword is mostly worthless for him and heavy wraith canons seem boss.

Re: eldar army
I wasn't really sure how to do the serpent loadouts. I'll keep that in mind though.
Yes dropping the cannons comes with taking a sword and shield. I was thinking of the sword loadouts cause of a pose I have in mind, and cause the iyanden supplement lets you elect either a lord or a knight as your warlord, and that sword seemed liked a good idea with him as the warlord.
I will be magging a lot of the loadouts so I can swap stuff around as I get a better feel for how I want the list to play. Is there any must have upgrades on the serpents? A few seemed neat, like the crystal matrix with the star engines to turboboot 24" and then fire a weapon at full BS

Re: eldar army
The default loadout for serpents is scatters+shuriken cannon. The only common upgrade I see is some people like holo-fields. They are already expensive and you don't want to give them to many options. But with this loadout they serve as both tough transports and gunboats good for putting lots of wounds on infantry/monstrous creatures. They are even good at killing light vehicles.
The downside to that is that he only gets one mastercrafted attack from the sword and the +1 str bonus is wasted. You are also giving up the two good weapon options. As a jump monstrous creature he should always have a 5+ cover save from area terrain so the shield is meh. If you need the invul save in close combat you are probably goofed anyways so again, meh.

Re: eldar army
Scatter Lasers are what make Wave Serpents ridiculous (as it makes the shield really really good).
A single wave serpent with Scatter Laser & Shield is equivalent to 2 chimara's and 3 auto-cannon teams worth of destruction.
Multiply that by 3 and you've got some terrifying math. I smash face with *one* on the board, never mind a pair (never taken more than two, but it's gotta get to the ridiculous level). Only thing they can't do is hose AV13/14. But you've got two Wraithlords with Bright Lances. Unless you face AV13 'crons, you'd be fine with out the lances on the wave serpents.

so dropping the knight back to his primary weapons, and thus dropping his smaller guns since he can only shoot 2 per turn, and swapping one squad of guard to wraithcannons saved me 100pts. i could get another 70 if i drop a seer, but since they get a power in the suppliment to give wraiths within 12" battle focus, i think 2 would be best in case i have to spread out my squads. thinking star engines for the 2 carrying the D-scythe squads so they can blast across the board and have their dudes pop out next turn and fwoosh-pew-pew-pew a unit each.
