Soooo....

Get this... i bought a Tau Skyray Missile tank, and inside it in ADDITION to the missile turret was a FULL hammerhead turret sprue... You think GW messed up in packing that model, or are all skyrays supposed to come with all bits nessessary to make it both a skyray AND hammerhead...?

Typically with variant plastic kits (Chaos/imperial vehicles) the extra sprue for the variant is tossed in with all the makings of the basic version. Usually the variants are priced a little higher.

DOn't know if it's the same now but it used to be that if you got a chaos rhino or whatever they would just throw in the chaos sprue with all the imperial stuff, as an example.

Oh I know... But I bought a Skyray.... Which is just a variant of the Devilfish... It came with the skyray turret sprue, and All the sprues that a devilfish comes with, but ALSO came with the full sprue to make the Hammerhead... its like I bought a hammerhead and Skyray (with only 1 body)... Both kits are 54 bucks... So i am thinking that they buggered up on the sprue placement and accidentally threw in the other turret sprues.

It was the same when I bought my sky ray vehicle. It makes it great cause if you do not glue on the missiles you can use it as either the skyray or hammer head.

then why would youbuy a hammerhead kit, if teh skyray comes with all of that? Just buy the skyray and get all the parts you need...
