Single Re-roll per die?

There used to be a rule that a die can only be re-rolled once. Is that still in with 6th? I have yet to come up but was curious.

Thats always been a gw staple throughout all game systems.. probably in the first few pages of the rulebook id guess.

Ya, you can only re-roll a thing once.

For example. If Kairos is your warlord.

You roll on the Warp Storm table and get a 4 & 3 for 7. Nothing! But you get greedy and want to re-roll using Kairos's Warlord trait! Disaster! You roll a 1 & 2 for a 3, and Kairos is your only Psyker! He gonna die! You now can not re-roll the 1 or the 2 using Kairos's special 1 die re-roll per player turn, as both of those dice have already been re-rolled.

Another Kairos based example. Your Herald of Tzeentch with a Grimoire failed his "Look out Sir!" roll. He rolls his invulnerable save, he rolls a "1", and the tzeentch re-roll kicks in, he rolls a "2", that's no better. At this point, he still can't use Kairos's re-roll because the die has already been re-rolled.

Funny how ppl miss this.

3++ was going on how Hyperios launchers where the bomb because they were twin linked and have heatseeker which let's you reroll misses...

I don't see how they can "miss" this... its right there (mini rule book) page 5, Re-roll: "....No single dice can be re-rolled more than once..."

Those that don't follow this aren't reading the rules in their entirety. As Robyn put it, its been this way forever and a millennium.

I can see new players missing it.. especially if your coming from a system that may allow it

Well I just wanted to make sure they had kept it. I know that is how it used to be and was far to lazy this morning to track down a rulebook

Its good to check though. One of those things i take for granted but never wouod have known if they changed it.
