Your Prediction of Future Nerd-Rage over the Tyranids....

So...I am curious what everyone thinks will cause the most "Internets Nerd-Rage" (a.k.a. That is SOOOOO broken & OP!!!) from the upcoming Nids codex.

My personal guess is that loudest crys will be if Shadows of the Warp does something interesting to disrupt '"buff" psychic powers.

i think if the Crone is an assault vehicle, a lot of armies are going to have trouble dealing with bugs in their face.

From what I've been hearing the whole "assault vehicle" thing was wishlisting, as the Haruspex is a melee specialist, not a transport as it was said to be.

I kinda liked the idea of a monster bug trundling forward in a hailstorm of bullets bouncing off of it....and within its final efforts before it dies, a swarms of little bugs pours out if it to swarm over the defenders.

Well, the Tervigon is supposed to be able to upgrade to not burn out for 15 points and boost to 4d6 spawning for another 20, so that's pretty darn close. Still isn't barfing out Hormagaunts or Genestealers, though.

I had heard the 4d6 and no burn-out were wish listing.....who knows. Would be cool...and annoying....just think of all the "spare" gaunts you would need.

Avg. 4d6 = 14 Gaunts....84 potential extra Gaunts over a 6 turn game..... 168 if you pop down two Tervigons of them.

That and I heard that you now need a group of 30 Gaunts to open up the Tervigon as a troop.

The 4d6 gaunts seems plausible for me simply because of how many more boxes of gaunts GW would sell as a result.

I agree with you that GW will definitely put these into play considering how many Gaunt they would sell.
