dude posted this on B&C recently. Imperial Fists with Iron Hands Allies, a Coteaz from C:I, and the Storm Wing Formation.

only fun playing against that list would be if the thunderfire was metal so you could put it in a sock and beat him with it.

It is a goofy list, but good in a competitive enviroment... meh. I give my Tau a pretty good chance of success against this. Eldar would have a field day as well, not to mention Demons.

Id have no problem facing this list.. lots of different things going on a just the one beefy dude to face.

Id be much more nervous going.up against a list with a pair of wraithknights or heldrakes.

with 2000 points, i can put 2 helldrakes, 2 vendettas, and a storm eagle in the air, and still have 1200 points of stuff on the ground to take objectives and control the board. I'de pit that against this list any day of the week Smile

it definitely looks like he just grabbed everything he's heard more experienced players say was good in its own right, and then tossed it all together and then played filler with what was left. "storm wing would be good" *adds it* "Coteaz in any imperial list?? thats brokenly good." *adds* "IH rules on a master on a bike with the shield and hammer? tanking monster." *adds*

if he was going to do this, he should have dropped the fist detachment all together to have the points to add more vehicles or walkers to take advantage of the IH rules, and since he's got all those flyers with one being a transport, take a unit to field inside it.

This list is bad. Low squishy scoring model count. No synergy. Storm Chickens aren't that good... If you're going to break the FoC, take 6 riptides.

Farsight main, takes 3 + Ovesa, Formation, allied Tau, take another.

The list is silly, especially since gw seems to have forgotten all about "forging that narrative".
How does this list make any sense fluff wise?
These days it's hard to write a battle report or see a story unfold in game, b/c the lists are getting worse and worse.
Coteaz, iron hands chapter master, a librarian, no tactical marines, and a bunch of scouts, devastators and fliers?
How does that make any sense story wise?
