The nova biker sorcerer is certainly a bit of a scary concept. Turbo across the field on turn 1, and start nuking on turn 2.

Or just move up 12" and pop the 36" Diameter Nova. It causes a level of pain that can be described using pi*r^2

You're likely to catch your own dudes in that blast if you pop it turn 1, though. Wouldn't be my choice of play, at least.

Nova only hits enemies. No worry for the CSM (Daemons are Friendlies)

Its probably the best thing about the black legion supplement.

I like the +1 init daemon weapon and the eternal warrior gear is neat.. but that nova blast is great with a spell familiar. Just dont try it on the grey knights if they have a dread is close by!

I thought the fact that regular SM got the Shield Eternal to be a bit of dick slap to chaos. Not only is it a storm shield with that nom nom 3++ but has eternal warrior and adamantine will just cuz. Doesn't the EW item from the supplement do something awful to make it bad?

Two different bits of Wargear.

The EW jigger is just EW & Adamantine Will for 35pts (IIRC, no bookie in front of me)
The thing your thinking of gives you a 3++ save but drops your toughness by 1. (25pts, IIRC)

As for sunburst, I think it does ignore cover, but I'd have to check to make sure.

Or Tokar could use a codex he actually owns...
